3rd was the clam with a kind of cheese soup. It was good but the cheese got sickening real quick. The clam was good but too bad there\'s only one.
4th was geese liver in between two pieces of fried potato strips. The liver was a bit TOO fatty and jello like. Too much of it = barf
5th was giant shrimp. That was good.
6th was serbert in a cocktail type deal to cleanse the palette. Good but too little.
7th course was Kobe Beef with some kind of pie. The beef was a bit TOO raw, and bland.
A day after we got to Saigon, we went to an old battle field with underground tunnels that the communists used to fight the Americans in the Vietnam War.
After 12 hours on the plane, we arrived at the Korean airport. It was really big and had such fun thing as...
After dinner, we went outside and walked around the city. There were so many perverted guys wistling and making dog calls. I\'m not interested >
After eating, we went to poke at the monkey.
After eatting dinner, we went straight to visit grandma who lives down the road. My mom\'s younger sister , her husband, and their two kids were there also.
After fishing, everyone headed back to the house to play videogames and cards.
After New Year party, we didnt go anywhere the next day because my cousin was sick. I guess the last couple days were devoted to resting for the long plane ride back. I really miss everyone in VN, the ppl made the experience great.
After pho, we headed back to the hotel to check out and set out to the city center. On the way, we saw many interesting people...such as this pimp on his blinging motorbike
After the party, we went to a cafe shop to listen to music and drink a variety of drinks. This is pretty much everyone.
After the rock climb, we went to a temple nearby. I think it\'s a korean sponsored tourist site...
After visiting my grandma...we all went out to the cemetary to visit my older sister. Even in the day, the cemetary was creepy...I could see the trees swaying when there seemed to be hardly any wind.
Again, all sewn. This is thread not paint.
Ah...the important part, the bathroom. I was very excited to see a clean, roomy bathroom. I think they clean it everyday when we are out. The shower was nice..and had a million shower heads to massage you.
A Merry Christmas kiss.
And again, most importantly...clean bathroom!
And Dad\'s peeing on the side of the road.
And my dad.
And then...we got distracted by the pretty water.
I did\'t eat anything since we had JUST made a pitstop to eat an hour ago but order a giant coconut instead. Yums.
Too bad everyone looks dark.
There lights were really pretty and many ppl were out. Because of this crossing the street was impossible unless u\'re willing to risk a limb.
Everyone kept staring at Vu\'s shorts and pointing/laughing at them.
Finally, the dessert came. It was like sponge cake or something with icecream and dark chocolate. The icecream was really good but not enough of it. The cake was kind of chewy but was ok, not too sweet. The chocolate was a bit to dark though.
Where is the dessert??
Waiting for the next meal.
The 2nd course was some kind of meat with salad...looked and tasted like spam to me.
The 1st course finally came. Yep, that\'s about it. It was a pastery with some kind of ranchy sauce and caviar on top.
Waiting for the first of 8 courses.
Bring on the food! Yum, Champange...even thought it was nasty champange that tasted like beer...
Free party supplies for everyone~ In our own private seating area.
For our celebration, we went up to a 6 stars hotel to one of their resturants to eat a special dinner. The dinner was $88USD per person...and we had 10 people.
Getting ready to go in.
Yay, New Years Eve. Saigon was decorated with lots of pretty lights!
That\'s an actual military tank.
